Sustainability is more than a catch phrase. It is a building block for a world moving to drastically reduce carbon emissions, discover, and develop technologies of the future.

When we hear this word, we tend to think of renewable fuel sources, protecting the environment, and massive international projects and policies for net zero emissions.

But what about the unsung heroes of the local community? What about the grassroots projects working to make a difference? The climate solutions are also of critical importance the the movement!

We want to know about these initiatives. We want to share their stories. And that’s why we need you.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CLIMATE SOLUTIONS

To gain deeper insight into sustainability and what it means around the world, we’ve partnered with One Earth, to bring you this awesome opportunity to be part of a 6-month paid media mentorship-fellowship combo!

We are on the lookout for 4 globally diverse solutions reporting fellows to write stories unearthing the most amazing projects/initiatives with a climate solutions background.

Do you know about a community project focused on nature-based solutions? Are you interested in reforestation, coastal conservation, or mangrove restoration? Perhaps you are aware of projects led by indigenous peoples or women groups.

These are the stories that will inspire the world.

As a part of this group of Fellows, you will receive training and mentoring to produce one story every month for 6 months.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN?

As a selected Fellow, you’ll be writing and publishing powerful sustainability stories focused on local solutions in your country/region. We will work alongside you, coaching and mentoring you, as you produce stories that will tell the world about untold local successes.

Not only is this a great opportunity to build your network around the world and engage with journalists beyond your country/region, it is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in reporting on climate change and sustainability issues and publishing on both Climate Tracker and One Earth websites.
