Amy Orta-Rivera holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Geography from the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and a Master's degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. She has 10 years of experience in environmental and climate activism, nationally and internationally. Recently, she finished an internship at El Puente-Latino Climate Action Network, where she focused on energy policies in Puerto Rico. At this moment, she is an AmeriCorps Vista at the Corporation for the Conservation of the San Juan Bay Estuary, where she is in charged to evaluate environmental programs within the organization.
