Puertorrican environmental scientist doing her PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry, at Rutgers University, but also a community organizer and climate activist at heart, after all it is a race to save the chocolate! She has led several community empowering efforts such as the Latino Climate Action Network in Puerto Rico and more recently undertook the regional coordination of Citizens' Climate Engagement Network in Latino America, working to expand direct citizen and stakeholder engagement in international climate negotiating process. She is also the founder of the Climate Trace organization focusing on creating purposeful interactive experiences to further climate actions locally and abroad.
