After a rigorous application process and among hundreds of applicants, three fellows will join our team in the UNFCCC intersessional this May. Get to know them better as they introduce themselves!

 Ahmad Abu Hamour

I was born and raised in Jordan,  a country saturated with history at every corner. I graduated from the University of Jordan last January with a BS in civil engineering, now I work at Omrania and Associates. I like to be immersed in nature and I prefer to spend my free time outdoors rather than indoors. I dislike malls, shopping and going to the gym but I love taking short hikes and reading through travel blogs!

Jelena Kozbasic

At the moment I am studying a master degree in Political ecology. I live in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and I am currently working as a journalist for Energetski portal, website and magazine on ecology. In my free time, I collect pretty mugs, glasses, and pots for my future home, and take naps. I am a passionate cook, but do not eating cheese (not even on pizza!) and only eat steak well done. You could think that the only salsa in my life would be Mexican sauce but I also dance some.

Ping Manongdo

I am the Philippine correspondent for Eco-Business, a Singapore-based media focused on clean tech, smart cities, responsible business and climate change stories in the Asia Pacific region. Having recently returned from a 10-year writing hiatus, I am excited, ready, and hungry for some serious journalism. I have an insatiable spirit of learning, and is planning to take up masters this year. (Scholarship suggestions welcome!)
I also love the outdoors, and have a new-found relationship with essential oils. When I’m not writing, I’m baking cake for the family, planning a trip, watching the clouds, listening to Spotify, reading to the children and basically doing my best to be a good wife, mother, and friend.

Watch out for their articles coming as they track the Bonn intersessionals!
