Clean Energy For African Journalist - Climate Tracker Toolkit copia
THE OPPORTUNITY

Together with Hivos, Climate Tracker will be training and sending 6 amazing African journalists to cover the Sustainable Energy for All Forum in Rwanda, this May (26th-28th).

We are looking for young journalists from across Africa who want to write incredible stories about the energy challenges in their home country and make a big impact in their countries by publishing about energy.

THE TOOLKIT

You will be covering this vital Forum in one of the key regions, on just transition. As journalists, you will need to be both determined and knowledgeable about the topic. Based on these ideas, we have created this toolkit that we hope will support you on your way to successfully navigating the Forum and offer you tools to be savvy as it relates to the energy industry. In this document, you will find information on energy access, renewables, clean cooking, gender, policies and financing, current energy challenges for Africa, and examples on good practices in journalism.

That said, take a look at a sample of the toolkit!

6, 13 and 300 MB versions are available.
