We all know that with countries’ current pledges, we are far from our 1.5 degrees target. Now, 1.5 degrees is very important, especially for vulnerable countries like small island nations facing sea level rise. While all countries need to do their own share of work, many countries have not been doing enough, especially when we take into consideration their historical emissions. So, who’s doing more work and who needs to do more? And what can we do so countries would have better climate pledges that will lead us to 1.5 degrees?
